Kosair Children's O & P Facility is known as the Center for Orthotic & Prosthetic Care, LLC, a privately owned venture between Center for Orthotic & Prosthetic Care, Inc. and Norton Healthcare, and managed by the Center for Orthotic & Prosthetic Care, Inc.

The experienced and board certified practitioners, technicians and staff at the Center for Orthotic and Prosthetic Care (COPC) are dedicated to providing the highest level of care and service to patients in need of orthotic and prosthetic devices.

Our clinicians are knowledgeable about the rehabilitation process, qualified in patient evaluations, skilled in design, fit and fabrication of devices, and committed to maximizing the patient’s quality of life.

Our highest priority is to provide each patient with the best possible outcome. In order to achieve this goal, we take the necessary time to understand each patients individual needs and draw upon the many resources we have available. We pride ourselves on keeping current with technological advancements, as well as providing innovative products, services, and comprehensive support to the medical community.

Privately-held COPC works hand-in-hand with the most respected medical institutions managing patient care and management services including: Duke University Medical Center, Norton Healthcare and Kosair Children's Hospital (Louisville, Ky.), and Shriners Hospital for Children-Lexington (Ky.)

The Center for Orthotic & Prosthetic Care (COPC) has ten locations in Kentucky, Indiana, and North Carolina. COPC not only provides patient care to hospitals and physicians groups, but also specializes in assisting hospitals manage their orthotic and prosthetic (O & P) departments.

The Center for Orthotic & Prosthetic Care provides customized prosthetic solutions for patients with amputations, and braces and support systems to assist patients with weak or injured muscle/skeletal groups.

The Center for Orthotic & Prosthetic Care (COPC) provides a full range of custom and prefabricated orthotic and prosthetic services including billing and prior authorization for all insurance carriers. The COPC also offers clinical support, stock and bill program, pre-hospital admission evaluation, post-surgical amputee rehabilitation management, and training seminars and inservices.
