2008 Kentucky Event
Amputee Golf Charities and friends are working very diligently to prepare for a great 2008 Kentucky Amputee Tournament Players Championship (TPC). This annual event is scheduled for June 5th, 6th and 7th and will take place at the Weissinger Hills Golf Course in Shelbyville Kentucky. This will be the sixth year that Shelbyville will host the tournament. (From 1994 through 2002, the TPC was held at South Park Golf Club in Louisville).
As in past years, the 2008 event will include both the Sponsor/Amputee Scramble and the two-day Amputee TPC. View the detailed 2008 Event Agenda.
Sponsor/Amputee Scramble
The Scramble will be held on Thursday June 5th. The day will start with a Bar-B-Que luncheon, followed by opening ceremonies, then the shotgun start early in the afternoon. Play will include various On-Course Contests for all participants. The Scramble will conclude with an awards ceremony with team and individual awards and door prizes.
Join the excitement, and participate with amputees from all over the United States. Sponsorship includes admission to Thursday's Scramble, Luncheon, Tournament Golf Shirt, and Official Program Listing.

Amputee Tournament Players Championship
The Amputee TPC is a two-day stroke play tournament that will be held on Friday June 6th and Saturday June 7th. The Amputee TPC will include a Dinner on Friday and Saturday nights with an Awards ceremony following Saturday's dinner. Play (both days) will also include Hole-In-One prizes and automatic entry into On-Course Contests.
Amputee players can choose to enter the Sponsor Scramble and/or the Amputee TPC. All players will receive an official Tournament Shirt, Golf Glove, and other merchandise. The entry deadline is May 15th (any cancellations received before May 27th will receive a full refund of fees).

Again in 2008, host accommodations will be provided by Best Western Shelbyville Lodge. However, new for 2008, the host golf course will be the Weissinger Hills Golf Course, also located in Shelbyville Kentucky.
